Michiyuki means journey. In Japan it was the coat worn when setting out - when something was beginning. The koshi (check/grid) pattern represents balance and order - one of Japan's most enduring geometric motifs.

One size. Fits Australian sizes 6-14. The michiyuki has more structure than a haori - it has a defined shape when buttoned. Worn open it drapes freely.
