Vintage - Woven Silk - Ombre - Belt or Scarf

THE CRAFT

The pattern on this scarf is woven directly into the silk - not printed, not dyed on top, but structured into the fabric itself. A jacquard weave creates a raised, dimensional surface where the floral and paisley motifs sit above the ground silk. Combined with an ombre dye that shifts from deeper blush at one end to pale peach at the other, the result is a scarf that changes as it moves.

Note: flat silk without stretch - tie loosely for comfort or knot at the front for structure.
